As the owner of Davis AutoSports and buyer of 100s of Cherokees since 2005, this is perhaps one of the very nicest Cherokees I have ever bought or seen. Jeeps like this are far and few and simply are becoming near impossible to find.

The History of this Cherokee couldn't be more impressive. For starters its a TRUE 1 OWNER Jeep, how often do you find a 30-year-old Cherokee XJ that was owned, loved for and cared for by 1 owner? With the odometer reading 137k miles, that just 4,700 miles per year on average. This Cherokee has over 60 services and inspections recorded on the Carfax report showing an impeccable service and mileage history. The previous owner not only garaged kept this Jeep but also had it covered when not in use while being stored in the garage. You simply won't find a Jeep with a better and more documented history.

Although this Jeep does have 137k Miles, it truly looks, drives, and appears to have 20-30k miles, it REALLY is that nice of a Jeep. The day we got it in inventory, I personally drove it 45 mins on the highways from the previous owners home and it drove like a new Jeep, when I got back to office, I intentionally let the jeep idle in the 93 degree weather to put it through some stress with the AC on, the Oil Pressure didn't drop below 35PSI (40-55 while driving) which is absolutely amazing and better than sub 30k miles Jeeps and the engine temp didn't budge a hair over 205 which once again in those conditions is simply perfect. This Jeep is absolutely one of the finest examples that exist today!!!

The interior of this XJ speaks to the amazing quality of this generation Cherokee and the previous owners perfect upkeep. This generation XJs interior are not only classic and gorgeous but they really stand the test of time. This particular interior literally looks new, the seats are 100% flawless with no rips, stress lines, worn cushions, etc. The carpets are equally impressive with no stains, holes, or worn areas, even the floor mats look great. The entire dash is 100% crack free and that's partially due to the fact that the previous owner had a towel that stayed there to protect it. (yes he was that type of owner) The only part of the entire interior that needs attention is the headliner which is the original one which also speaks to the the upkeep, it is starting to sag in just a few places therefore we will replace the entire fabric. The factory spare tire with cover are still in place along with jack, tools, books, manuals, etc. One last note, all the buttons, knobs, and handles inside also show very well with no defects.

The exterior of this Jeep is a must see in person. This 30-year-old Jeep with 137k Miles looks like a 3 year-old Jeep with 20k Miles. When I was called on this Jeep and was informed about the year and mileage I had 5% excitement in wanting to make the 1 hour drive to inspect and perhaps purchase it, when I got there in person I was simply amazed and my excitement went through the roof!!!! I have not seen an original Jeep in this condition considering the year and mileage. To be honest it gave me an immediate respect for the owner. The paint was simply stunning and had a gorgeous shine and perfect finish. All the glass looked clean and perfect, the roof rack looked brand new, etc. The aluminum trim around the Jeep was fully polished and well kept. The tires showed some wear and we are installing brand new BFG All Terrain K02 Tires along with polishing the wheels. There are a few tiny blemishes on the paint that we will give the buyer the option of us touching up and fixing: rear bumper, passenger side rear door trim, small area on hood. Overall the exterior is simply gorgeous and in stunning condition. This Jeep is the best of the best!!!

The undercarriage of this Jeep is something you wont find on a Jeep of this age, This Jeep has ZERO rust issues. The floorpans are 100% original and look amazing with no issues at all. The frame rails literally look brand new. The axle housings looks perfect with no defects. The inner and outer rockers look great with no issues. You will not find a Jeep of this age that looks this new underneath.
