WE SHOULD BE COMPLETED WITH THE REMAINING 10% BY 6-1-21, HOWEVER THE JEEP WILL THEN UNDERGO ITS BREAK IN AND FINAL INSPECTION PERIOD WHICH IS USUALLY ABOUT 1-2 WEEKS.

Up for your consideration is a gorgeous and restored 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ that has been getting restored for the last 12 months. Here at Davis AutoSports we stay very busy with custom orders and rarely have our built XJs hit the market like in the past. We currently have 14 XJs being built that will not hit the market so this is a rare chance to buy something ready to go. This Jeep has our popular stage 2 package with many more upgrades and full interior and exterior restore.

PAINT AND BODY
This XJ came blue pearl from the factory and part of our full restoration includes a full repaint. We stripped down this XJ to metal and started from step one with etch primer, 2K primer, sealer, 2 coats base coat, and 3 coats of clear coat. When we paint our XJs, all handles, locks, trim, windows, panels are removed so there are no tape lines. This is a very time consuming method but the end result speaks for itself. We also painted all the door handles, mirror housings, belt moldings, factory roof rack and more. In addition to the ENTIRE exterior being painted, we spent 4 day wet sanding and buffing the new paint for a perfectly flat top clear coat layer and mirror finish. When each coat of primer is applied, we then block ( sand to a perfect flat surface) then apply a 2nd coat of primer and repeat. Please note, all panels are painted off the Jeep for a perfect finish with no tape lines.
